Summer Events 2011
Thanks to Dee and Tracy who spent 3
long days in a field selling unwanted items to raise money for the
Germany Trip, and also thanks to Sarah who did non Karate events
outside of the club to raise a substantial amount for the Squad.
Bag Packing -11th June 2011
Thanks to Sainsbury Alder Hills, and
everyone who showed to pack the many many bags of shopping that went
through the checkouts on a busy Saturday morning. Just short of
£400 was raised from this day. Well done to all those helpers!
Slamathon - May 2011
A great show and pledges added to over £1000.... not all has been collected yet, so please continue to chase!

Muscliff Fun
Day - Sunday 18th July 2010
A great day in all, taking over £100 on the facepainting,
Slam Man, and punch balloons..... an extra special thanks to Tracey and
Lorraine for their fantastic face painting skills - you try sitting
down for 4 hours non-stop with wriggling children and queue-jumping
parents...! The demonstration was great... Shaun even used a radio mic
which drew the crowds.... next time we'll do it to music... can't wait!
Ferndown Carnival - Saturday 10th July 2010
Punch balloons
were added to the fund-raising efforts this time, and the team
took part in the parade through Ferndown, stopping every so often
to do a Kata display. Thanks to all who took part - a special thanks to
the non-Squad members who took the time and trouble to support the
club!

Oakhurst First School Summer
Fete - Saturday 19th June 2010
We trialled
facepainting as an add-on to the Slam Man.... only a few
pounds difference in funds raised... is the face painting going
to out-do the Slam Man in the future...? Another great
demonstration - thanks guys!
Townsend Fun Day - Friday

This was our trial
of the new Slam Man stall - a good test of our gazeebo putting up
skills! Thanks to the members of the squad who turned up todo the
demonstration. Sorry about the grass stains guys!
